A$AP Rocky and Jeremy Scott

Anyone remotely familiar with the music and style sensibilities of A$AP Rocky and Jeremy Scott had to know this was coming, right? By "this," I'm, of course, referring to the just-released news that this duo has teamed up with adidas Originals for a pair of limited edition collaboration sneakers. The "Fashion Killa" MC and the runway-ready streetwear (or is it street-ready runway?) designer started off as long-time admirers of each others' work and quickly spun that mutual respect into an actual friendship—supporting each other and even covering magazines together. On top of that, they each have their own separate relationships with adidas: Jeremy having contributed collections upon collections upon collections for the brand, and Rocky having lent his voice and pretty mug to a commercial earlier this year. The triple-headed collab was inevitable.

Highsnobiety reports that A$AP Rocky

In an amazing piece of fashion news, Highsnobiety reports that A$AP Rocky has teamed with designer Jeremy Scott and adidas Originals for a new pair of shoes. They're called the JS Wings 2.0 Black Flag. They're all black, they feature stars and stripes, and they have wings.
Rocky mentioned Scott in "Out of This World" and wore a pair of his shoes in the "Purple Swag" video. The shoes were partially inspired by the American flag on the cover of the LongLiveA$AP album cover.

1986 - APS

APS, standing for Antipronation and Shock Absorption System, was a fine tuning of the shoe's technology. It could be seen through a transparent window through the heel area and allowed the wearer to adjust the shock absorption to suit his or her bodyweight with a key. In 2004 a premium leather edition was released.
